Mississippi Trade Mart Jackson, MS

Join us at the 2019 Chimneyville Arts Festival, featuring all original, hand-crafted work by many of members of the Craftsmen’s Guild of Mississippi. Demonstrations by some of our craftsmen and artisans, special programs, and live music will be scheduled daily throughout the three-day festival. 

Single-day, general admission tickets are $10; a VIP upgrade is available for an additional $10 and includes light snacks and a specialty cocktail, beer, or wine.

Get ready to stuff those stockings! The Museum Store Holiday Open House returns with a singular lineup of Mississippi artisans and products. Enjoy light refreshments and visit with vendors and local authors throughout the day while having your items gift wrapped (free with any purchase). At 5:45 PM, enjoy the annual holiday edition of Music in the City with the St. Andrew’s Episcopal Cathedral Parish Choir, decorate cookies, and craft art with our Museum educators.

The Cooper-Young Festival, hosted by the Cooper-Young Business Association (CYBA), is Memphis' most anticipated outdoor celebration. Held in Memphis' largest historic district, the Cooper-Young Festival is scheduled for September 14th.

In its 32nd year, this event has grown tremendously and is one of Memphis' most highly attended Festivals. This year, over 130,000 guests will enjoy an appealing mix of art, music and crafts presented by over 435 artisans from around the country. The Cooper Young Festival is a true celebration of the arts, people, culture and Memphis heritage.

Cooper Young was named one of the "Top 10 Great Neighborhoods in America" by the American Planning Association in 2012. Come join us for the party and get to know why Cooper Young is Midtown!

The AthFest Music & Arts Festival brings the best local and regional musicians and visual artists together in Downtown Athens, Ga. By incorporating multiple events and venues throughout downtown, AthFest is able to reach a broad range of audiences and attracts an eclectic mix of lifestyle interests.

The festival showcases the best talent in our area, and generates huge awareness for the nonprofit, AthFest Educates, and its mission to provide much needed funding to support music and arts education for youth.

The artist market will be open on Friday, June 21, 2019 from 5–10 p.m., Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 12–10 p.m. and Sunday, June 23, 2019 from 12:30–8 p.m.

Presented by the Starkville Area Arts Council, the Cotton District Arts Festival has been named one of the top 100 Events in North America by the American Bus Association, a Top 20 Event in the Southeast, and one of the top 5 festivals in Mississippi for 2012, 2013, 2014, and again in 2015, by Mississippi Magazine.

Mississippi Museum of Art

Shop locally and put a bow on your holiday gift-giving during this all-day, after-hours event in The Museum Store at the Mississippi Museum of Art! Sip champagne and sample homemade edibles while browsing an artfully curated selection of handmade jewelry, men’s accessories, scarves, household decor, novelties, soaps and sugar body scrubs, and wreaths and holiday arrangements. Just for the occasion, the store welcomes designer Jamie Faulkner with Let It Be Yours Jewelry, Amber Earles of A’ Marie’s Bath Flower Shop, Camille and Rob Peeples with FEAST Specialty Foods, and Beth Foose with Little Bluestem Farm.

At 4 PM, Hyperrealist Glennray Tutor will speak about his new book, Portals, published this fall by Yoknapatawpha Press, book signing to follow.

This event is free and open to the public.

The Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces is proud to announce the 11th Annual Chastain Park Arts Festival on November 3rd and 4th in Atlanta, Georgia. Named Best Self Magazine’s “Best Local Festival,” the Chastain Park Arts Festival will transform the park into an outdoor art gallery to the backdrop of vibrant fall hues. This two-day event will feature up to 200 fine local and regional artists and artisans along tree lined Park Drive in Chastain Park. This is definitely and event that you do not want to miss!

The Museum Store, Café, and galleries stay open until 8 PM. In the freshly stocked Museum Store, shoppers can finish their holiday shopping and check out a one-night-only trunk show of Jaime Faulkner's "Let It Be Yours" jewelry. The Annual Porch Sale is located in the historic Bolton Home which also houses the Center’s Gallery Gift Shop. The Annual Porch Sale is held on a major shopping weekend so guests have the opportunity to purchase unique, original works of art just in time for the gift giving season.  Works may range from pottery, paintings, sculpture, fiber arts, mobiles, jewelry, photographs, mixed media etc.  Every year the Sale expands to feature new artists from across the state.  River Oaks is also home to a sales gallery which features exclusive works by the Louisiana Crafts Guild.
